Product Details
+A wonderful pair of sterling silver earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These artistic circular earrings are crafted in sterling silver and feature intricate detailing. The earrings begin with a round bead surmount from which the rest of the earrings rests. The central component of the earring is a large, circular disc, which is decorated with a sunburst like design. At the center of the starburst is a partially raised sterling silver dome, which further adds to the overall allure of the piece. The lovely design is completed by a simple earring wire. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, these stylish Victorian earrings would make a unique everyday accessory!
Measurements: Each earring hangs a little over 1 1/2" long, is 3/4" at the widest and a little more than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling setting or to the raised accents and the wires are secure and in good condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver that gives them some color variation which is normal for Victorian era jewelry and adds depth to the design.
