A fantastic pair of gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These dramatic earrings are made of 15k yellow gold and are fairly substantial in size. Each earring begins with a simple circular surmount, from which an ellipse shaped hoop hangs. Within the hoop, an identical small circular bead is set. Interlocked within the top ellipse shaped hope is another identical hoop, which is connected by a small jump ring. The lower hoop is able to move freely within the open space of the upper hoop, which adds unique and delicate detail to the earrings. The earrings feature simple earring wires that are also crafted in 15k gold. Despite their size, the earrings are lightweight and comfortable to wear. The earrings have lovely movement when worn and are a wonderful example of Victorian era jewelry. They would make a marvelous addition to any collection!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/4" long, measures 5/8" at the widest point and 1/4" at the thickest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold earrings, and the earrings wires are intact and secure.
